Clearly it's what many people who come to a silent film festival hope to see, and a festival of lost silent films ought not to be any different. Perhaps I can employ the ghosts of silent film pianists past - maybe those past doyens of the National Film Theatre Arthur Dulay, Florence de Jong and Ena Baga.
